I’ve been watching EVO every year since 2011 when I started to seriously follow competitive gaming, which was also the time when livestreaming became viable through Twitch. EVO has become one of my most awaited times of the year, even more so than Christmas or my birthday (which happens to be on the same month). There’s this chain message going on in Facebook as of this writing with people listing the top ten games that have stayed with them in some way. When the new year comes around, people all over the Internet would usually give their own top ten list of whatever came out during the outgoing year, and I guess I’m no different. I do like to quantify and enumerate my subjective experiences, and video games is my main thing right now.
