This whole Avoiderdragon thing has been kept alive to give me a reason to exist. I have to pay for domain and hosting every year, and I barely publish blog posts here. I can keep justifying it with various excuses, but the only good way to truly make it worth the effort and expense is to actually become prolific with content creation. This is how I will do it. WTF, blogging?

This is not just a status update on the site, but also an editorial on what I think about blogging and what I think is best practice (which is far from the “best”). Basically, I’m going to rant and whine about something I’m finding hard to get noticed at. WEBSITE NEWS: New Look and Direction

In the process of revamping this site for the umpteenth time, I’ve come up with perhaps the best improvements yet. Now with a new black and yellow (-ish) design, I’m also in the process of renewing my commitment to writing my own stuff and not just what I type out for a living. Whether I monetize this website or not, I do want a reader base, so here’s what is perhaps my greatest attempt yet at having my own website. (more…)
