My YouTube channel got a boost thanks to a momentary pleasing of the algorithm and Ironmouse somehow watched my video about her boss theGunrun on the ninth day of her now-legendary subathon. This encouraged me to go harder with this content creation gig. One of the first things I did to push forth with this personal initiative is what most people shouldn’t be doing — buy a new camera. However, since I’ve been ballin’ outta control, I went to JG Superstore and bought the recently-released second iteration of the Sony ZV-E10 mirrorless camera, the first of which I’ve already become a fan of. Spider-Man: Homecoming — Laying Eggs [Review]

Spider-Man: Homecoming

How many more Spider-Man movies should we get? At this point, I’d expect the webslinger to actually lay eggs, but that’s exactly what this film actually does as far as Spidey goes. With Marvel actually having a hand in Spider-Man: Homecoming instead of Sony just hogging it all for themselves, we finally get one that’s going to be a part of a larger continuity. The creative decisions taken with it were interesting, and the future of this Peter Parker is indeed promising. (more…)

A Hadouken Too Far? More on Platform Exclusivity

So this topic comes up again with what should be a bigger knee-jerk than the last time. Street Fighter is a bigger franchise due to its history and wider appeal, so there seemed to be more attention this time around compared to Rise of the Tomb Raider being announced as an Xbox One exclusive. With the announcement of Street Fighter V and its exclusion from the Xbox One, the waves of reactionary rage were more palpable, so much that I had to write this follow-up. (more…)
